Natural Affinity Guild Charter
Preface
This charter should be read and understood by all Guild members. If you have any questions or remarks do not hesitate to contact an Officer or the Guild Master.
Mission Statement
Natural Affinity is a World of Warcraft guild on the Dalaran server. Our focus is to experience, challenge, and defeat PVE content through strong teamwork and dedication from our members. Our emphasis is on 25-man raids.
General Requirements
We do not want to burden members with excessive rules; however, we do expect members to treat each other with respect. This also applies to players encountered outside of the guild. Remember, treat others how you would like to be treated! Also keep in mind you are wearing the NA guild tag and what you do reflects on how all our guild members are perceived.
We are all human and we will, at some point, disagree with each other. All arguments should be handled privately. Please try to be courteous of your fellow Guild members and try to resolve the issue on your own. If a problem can not be resolved between members involved please bring it to the attention of an officer to help mediate.
Raider Requirements
- Knowledgeable - You must know your class well. This includes knowing how to properly spec and gear your character for raiding. You are required to read the raid strategies posted on the forums before the raid starts.
- Willing to listen - You are able to follow Raid Leader’s instructions. You are open to suggestions by officers and fellow raiders.
- Committed - You enjoy the challenge of new encounters and you are prepared with consumables to help achieve this goal. You are expected to arrive on time and will not leave early without reason.
- Have the proper Mods (Omen & BigWigs or DBM; Decursive) installed along with Ventrillo.
- Availability - You must have 80% or better attendance on our official raid nights. Raiders maintaining higher attendance will receive preference for raid invites.
- Calendar sign-ups are required. Please confirm your availability on the in-game calendar. Calendar events are typically scheduled 5 days in advance. If you are unable to attend a raid you are signed up for, please try to cancel on the calendar, post on the forum, or let another Guild member know. We understand this is not always possible, but please be considerate of your fellow raider’s time.

Communication
We encourage all guild members to actively communicate with each other. The forums are a great tool for this. Officers will use the forums to distribute information, solicit feedback and suggestions, and conduct polls on the forums frequently.
The forum will be also be used for raid strategies, raid calendar and DKP. Check it often! The forum address is: http://na.mmoguildsites.net/home
We use Ventrillo so we can talk with other guild members while in game. This speeds up playing and increases the success of raiding encounters. Ask an officer for the Vent address and password.
Loot Rules
Natural Affinity uses a DKP system for loot
distribution. DKP will be earned through boss kills in 25 man
raids. Raiders will use DKP earned to bid on items dropped in raid
encounters via private bidding. Tiebreakers for DKP will be done by
random roll. Bidding is only open on items to main specs, unless otherwise specifically mentioned by the raid leader as open to off specs (for cases where main specs are not available or the item has dropped a sufficient number of times previously). In addition, please be knowledgeable regarding what type of gear and stats are optimum for your role. Do not bid on an item simply because you can use it. Greediness will not be tolerated.
DKP amounts will be logged by an officer and will be publicly available to view on the forums. Any discrepancies in DKP can be addressed via the “DKP Discrepancies” thread on the forums.
Raiders who are ready and prepared but are
not invited to the raid will receive half of the DKP for each boss
killed. Raiders who get subbed out to better facilitate the downing of a
boss will also receive half of the DKP of the boss kill. Double DKP will
be earned for first time boss kills. Raiders who are signed up but are
“No-Shows” (barring any extreme circumstances) will receive minus the amount of
DKP earned from the raid.
Each member who has 100% attendance for the week will receive 10 bonus DKP after the last raid of the week. DKP may also be awarded for effort in progression attempts per the discretion of officers/GM at the end of the raid.
Frozen Orbs and Runed Orbs, Crusader Orbs etc will be collected by the Raid Leader and distributed to Raiders for fixed DKP cost as needed for progression.
Naxxramas, Obsidian Sanctum, and Eye of Eternity, Ulduar, and ToTC are no longer worth DKP.
